What to Expect
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Some folks dress up for Sunday, others come casual. You will fit in either way.
Where do I park?
We have parking right on the church grounds at 1075 Teague Rd. Pull in, park anywhere, and come on in the front doors.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Families are welcome. Sunday School at 10:00 AM has classes for every age group, so there is a class for your children while you are in yours.
Is there a nursery during the service?
Yes. There is a nursery room, and someone is always able to take your little one during the worship service. You do not have to arrange it ahead of time, though a quick heads up helps us be ready. Plenty of families keep their children with them in the service instead, and stepping out with a fussy baby for a few minutes is normal here. It is only an hour.
Is the building accessible?
Yes, the whole way through. There is handicap parking and visitor parking, and the route from the parking lot into the church is wheelchair accessible, with sidewalks and ramps. The fellowship hall downstairs, where we eat together, is wheelchair accessible too.
What if I cannot make it in person?
We live stream the Sunday service on our
Facebook page, and the service is posted to our
YouTube channel afterward so you can watch any time. You can find both on our
watch online page.
How long is the service?
The worship service runs from 11:00 AM to about 12:00 PM — roughly an hour of singing, prayer, and preaching from the Bible.
What about Sunday School?
Sunday School meets from 10:00 to 10:30 AM with classes for all ages, including adult classes. It is a smaller setting where you can study the Bible and get to know people.
What is Coffee with Jesus?
From 10:30 to 11:00, everyone gathers for coffee and fellowship between Sunday School and worship. It is a great time to meet people — and a great time to slip in if you are running a little late.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
No. We are glad you are here, and we will welcome you, but you will not be asked to stand up, speak, or give anything.
